Product Manager for Meat and Fish Alternatives at Planteneers

Florian is a passionate food technologist with a solid culinary chef education. His passion for working with food was strengthened during his graduate food technology studies at the Technical University of Berlin.

Florian has been with the Stern-Wywiol-Group since 2016. Since the foundation of Planteneers – The Plant Based Pioneers, he has been in charge of Product Management there for meat and fish alternatives beside traditional meat products. He started as a technologist in Hydrosol’s pilot plant with the focus on emulsified meat products and fat analogues. For about three years now, he has focused his work on the development and improvement of emerging food products, especially in the area of plant-based meat and fish alternatives. For him, it is important to offer today’s consumer healthy and tasty food products. Sustainability and environmental aspects are as important as are texture and taste. As he puts it, “I’m only satisfied with a product when the customer says: ‘I’ll buy that again!’”
