Head of campus catering unit at the German National Association for Student Affairs (DSW)

Sarah Bock is working at the German national association for studen affairs (DSW) as head of campus catering unit since 2018. The so-called DSW is a voluntary association of Germany’s 57 Studentenwerke (student services organisations). Germany's 57 Studentenwerke take care of around 2.8 million students at more than 300 higher education institutions in approximately 200 locations, and they offer support and advice on social welfare, economic, cultural and health issues. Mrs. Bock studied nutrition science at the university of Christian Albrecht (CAU) in Kiel and obtained her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Health at AgroParisTech in Paris in 2012. She has large knowledge of the German public canteens, how they function, which demands and challenges they face especially in terms of the Corona pandemic and Fridays for Future generation.
