Isabella

Iglesias-Musachio

CEO and founder of Bosque Foods

Isabella's academic background lies in sustainability and agriculture, she has spent her career helping to build and scale startups in the United States, Europe, and Asia, most recently for ag-tech startup Infarm.

However, her passion for fermentation and fungi has been growing for over 12 years, and laid the foundation for what would one day become Bosque Foods! She started this company to build a mission driven company focusing on lowering the carbon footprint of the animal industry. This, coupled her my passion for fermentation and fungi made it a no brainer to look at the immense possibilities of what we can create through fungal fermentation, e.g. mycelium, and how this can be applied to solving some major gaps in the meat-alternative industry, such as developing whole-cuts.

At the end of the day, Isabella wants to give people better alternative protein options so they can feel good about reducing their meat consumption, and not like they are sacrificing something they love.
