Nadine started to dive into the issues of alternative protein as start-up journalist in 2017, when she first learned about cultivated meat. Her book “Clean Meat: Fleisch aus dem Labor. Die Zukunft der Ernährung” was published 2019 and provides a broad overview on the development of a new type of production. She concludes: Cultivated meat will play a crucial role in creating a sustainable protein future but will not stand alone. Today she is investigating the growing alternative protein industry and writing down her findings in the magazine “NEWMEAT” which reaches all relevant stakeholders within the meat and agricultural industry. Her next food book, which gives an overview on solutions to create a sustainable food supply chain will be published 2024.
