As International Head of Food Services & Events at ProVeg, Katleen Haefele is closely working with leaders in the sector to change the world for the better. After finishing her Master’s degree in Environmental Education she worked as a freelance educational consultant and as an event manager of Germany’s biggest fair for sustainable consumption. All her career choices have always been driven by a deeply-rooted care for the environment and a strong motivation to find sustainable solutions for both people and the planet. This journey has brought her to ProVeg in 2016, where she has been managing the Food Services & Events department ever since. Among many other responsibilities she initiated the New Food Conference in 2019 and created important partnerships with leading decision makers of the food industry.
