Alexander Hoffmann is Investment Director at M Ventures and responsible for Frontier Tech & Sustainability investments out of M Ventures’ €400 million Science & Technology fund. In his position, Alexander is responsible for investments in cutting-edge early-stage companies in the fields of healthtech, foodtech and deeptech. He serves as Board Member to several companies, including Mosa Meat, Legendairy Foods, Neurable and Altoida. Previously, Alexander was based in Nairobi, leading the digital strategy of the Merck Group across the African continent. Prior to joining Merck Group in 2014, Alexander has collected extensive experience in tech startups, ranging from fintech to consumer-tech. Alexander holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing from Kingston Business School, UK.
