Jean-Francois is the CIO of Danone Manifesto Ventures, the CVC unit of Danone, launched in 2016 with a mission to support the growth of innovative food and foodtech companies and partner with entrepreneurs that share its vision of a healthy and sustainable future. Based in New York, it became the first CVC to be certified B Corp in 2018. Prior to that, JF was VP Finance for Danone UK and he also served as the Head of Danone M&A for APAC. Before joining Danone, JF started his career in M&A at Lazard and also worked in PE focusing on the renewable energy sector. JF is a graduate of EM Lyon.
