Founder of Jay&Joy
Mary is the co-founder of Jay&Joy, France's first vegan creamery. After studying marketing & management in Paris, she worked in fashion where the fast paced lifestyle led her to develop an interest in meditation. She learned the principle of "AHIMSA ''/ non violence which she put into practice through her veganism. With Eric, her husband, the path to their own veganism led them to understand that the hardest thing was to live without eating cheese in the land of cheese, so being two cheese lovers they understood the importance of developping vegan cheese.In 2014, after taking vegan cuisine courses and plant based fermentation, she launched with her husband Eric their first vegan cheeses.In 2015, she studied with the best cheesemakers of France to learn the millennial French techniques of cheesemaking which she later applied to vegan cheese.Today, she is the co-founder & chairwoman of Jay&Joy which is a company of 30 highly driven multidisciplinary team members who work everyday to change the landscape of vegan cheese in Europe.
