CTO and VP of R&D at Aleph Farms

Dr. Lavon serves as the CTO and VP of R&D of Aleph Farms, a global foodcompany established in Israel. Neta has over 20 years of experience in stemcell applications in biotechnology, specializing in the commercialization ofemerging technologies for industrial utilization. Prior to Aleph Farms, she wasCOO   of   the   biotech   company   Kadimastem   (TLV:KDST),   developing   celltherapy products for ALS and neurodegenerative diseases. Previously, as aresearcher   at  Cedars-Sinai  in  Los   Angeles she led  the  establishment  ofrepository of 25 novel pluripotent stem cell lines. Dr. Lavon holds a Ph.D. inGenetics, an M.Sc. in Biotechnology, and a B.Sc. in Food Sciences from theHebrew University in Israel. In 2017 upon Aleph Farms establishment. Dr.Lavon   joined   the   company   founders,   as   the   VP   of   R&D,   to   lead   thetechnological strategy of the company. Today as the company’s CTO, Netaoversees the in house and external research and development and thescaling-up   of   the   technological   platforms   towards   production   of   variousproducts from animal cell cultures.
