After working on Wall Street with Morgan Stanley, then with early-stage startups & Microsoft in Silicon Valley, Jinesh shifted focus to building a better future of food.

Jinesh is Head of Venture Creation & a founding member at Counterfactual Ventures - an alternative protein venture studio and serves as Principal at Bright Green Partners, a future food consulting boutique. Jinesh independently partners with startups to help with Business Strategy, GoToMarket, Growth, Fundraising, Partnerships & beyond. He has collaborated with FoodTech leaders including Eat JUST Inc, Good Dot, The Good Food Institute India, & advised/mentored over 40 alternative protein startups & 100+ tech startups across 6 continents through leading global accelerators such as YCombinator, Alchemist Accelerator & Startup Farm(Brazil). He has raised significant funding from top-tier VCs & angels for Mylk Guys, a plant-based startup he founded,& for several other startups & funds too.

Jinesh is one of 30 Alternative Protein industry leaders to contribute to the world's 1st ever "The Asia Alternative Protein Report" & holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science & Mathematical Finance from New York University.
