With a PhD in Chemistry, Alexander joined Döhler leading R&D on raw material & technology, developing and qualifying functional ingredients. In 1999 he moved to business development for FTNF flavours, then led concept and flavour product management. He later headed innovation at Celanese's Food Ingredients (natural sweetening, preservation) and beverage/bakery segments at ICL with focus on proteins. Since 2017 he leads Döhler’s Health BU and, since 2025, builds he is building the Future of Nutrition and Longevity Institute.
