Archambeau

Co-Founder of Astanor Ventures

Eric Archambeau is a former Silicon Valley technology entrepreneur turned venture capitalist. First at
Benchmark Capital, where he co‐founded its European operations, and then at Wellington Partners
in London, Eric has invested in the likes of Spotify, Onfido, XING, eGroups, PriceMinister, Betfair,
Freenow and Import.io. He has been a pioneer in the impact investing space, as well as being a notfor‐profit activist focused on healthy food education and regenerative agriculture training. In2010, Eric co‐founded Quadia – a Geneva‐based impact investing firm and one of the first firms to offer investors and family offices tailored strategies and portfolios that delivered social and environmental impact, by combining social finance and high‐returns. From 2015 to 2018, Eric also served as Global Chairman of the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation.
Eric is also a past chairman of the Impact Investment Program of UK Government’s NESTA.
Eric’s ambition to positively revolutionise the food sector led him to launch Astanor Ventures in
2018. Astanor invests in young, disruptive, highly ambitious tech companies that can generate systemic impact in the agri‐food space while restoring the cultural and human dimension of ag‐tech using regenerative agriculture and sustainable food transformation practices.
