Managing Director and CTO of Ospin
Nina Buffi studied Biomedical Microengineering at the Swiss Institute of Technology in Lausanne and at the University of British Columbia. In 2013 she earned a PhD in Microsystems and Microelectronics, also from the Swiss Institute of Technology in Lausanne, working on a biosensor for the detection of arsenic in water. In 2016 she joined OSPIN, a company automating and digitizing bioprocesses in the fields of tissue engineering, cultured meat and cell-therapy. Since August 2019 she is OSPIN's Managing Director and together with her team she is aiming to establish the OSPIN bioprocessing platform as the „operating system“ of modern biotechnology.
