Sebastian Joy is the founder and CEO of ProVeg International, an international food awareness organization with the mission to reduce global animal product consumption by 50% by the year 2040. He is also the Vice President of the European Vegetarian Union and a lecturer of Nonprofit Management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law. Sebastian is a renowned speaker as well as an innovator, expert and representative of the European and global plant-based movement. He created the world’s most successful plant-based fair “VeggieWorld”, co-initiated the world’s first international congress for medical experts and health practitioners focusing on plant-based nutrition called “VegMed”, and was also involved in creating the New Food Conference as well as the ProVeg Incubator, the first of its kind, focusing on plant-based and cultivated innovations to disrupt the food market.
