Dirk Liebenberg is an expert on the plant-based sector in Germany and, as Senior Project Manager at ProVeg, is responsible for projects related to food retailers and manufacturers. His team implements ProVeg's collaborative approach to plant-based transformation of the food landscape together with committed partners from the industry.His path led him from studying sustainability management directly to implementation at the international nutrition organization ProVeg, where he has been able to combine his rational sustainability thinking with his passion for nutrition issues for the past 5 years - a combination with a lot of potential in the food system, as it needs to be transformed in a sustainable way. That is why he dedicates his work to breaking down barriers to a more plant-based diet and accelerating positive developments in the so-called alternative protein sector.
