Vegan and flexitarian nutrition is a future trend that we are increasingly seeing among our customers - motivated by drivers such as sustainability, health and animal welfare. That's why we are continuously and intensively working on our vegan range to meet the demands of our customers. We now have over 500 vegan products in our range and over 50 vegan substitute products under our own vegan brand "Vemondo". With Vemondo, we want to make it easier for our retail customers to identify vegan substitute products that are climate-neutral and consistently address the issues of CO2 reduction, animal welfare and conscious nutrition. In addition, our Vemondo range won over ProVeg e.V. at the "International V-Label Award": experts and customers agree: the vegan products of Lidl's own brand Vemondo offer perfect alternatives to the consumption of animal products.
